About Dyker Lights

Dyker Lights is an independent guide to the Dyker Heights Christmas lights in Brooklyn. It answers the questions people ask before going: when the lights are on, which streets to walk, how to get there from Manhattan, and which tour — if any — is worth booking.

How we check the facts

Dates, hours, streets and house addresses come from local sources we name on each page — Brooklyn Paper, Gothamist, Free Tours by Foot, Secret NYC, Help New York — and the MTA for subway fares. Where only one source says something, we say who said it.

Tour prices, ratings, meeting points and review quotes come from each tour's GetYourGuide listing. Prices move with the date you pick, so the live price in the booking calendar is the one that counts.

How the site is paid for

When you book a tour through our links we earn a commission from GetYourGuide, at no extra cost to you. It never decides which tour we recommend: the lights are free, and we always show the subway route too. Affiliate disclosure.

We don't run tours and aren't affiliated with the homeowners or with any tour operator.
